ABOUT
Freestyle is the oldest, largest and most experienced Skatepark design and build firm in the world, having designed and built over 600 parks over the last 30 years. They range from small local parks for parish councils up to large competition quality parks in city centres. We are responsible for the majority of the UK’s most respected parks including Brighton’s The Level, Manchester Projekts, Moor Park, Preston and the XC Centre in Hemel.
Our design approach is unique within the industry. Whilst our parks are always designed by skaters and riders, they are also shaped by architects, builders, youth workers, parents and engineers.
What started off as Freestyle has now grown into a family owned collection of firms, the Lipton Group, who specialise in a broad range of community and leisure facilities. Most communities are well served with organised sports facilities for tennis, football and swimming. Those same communities are often less well served for the equally healthy but less well understood activities of skateboarding, BMX or mountain biking.

SITE SELECTION
Our in house engineers and surveyors can visit the sites, conduct testing, produce reports and advise on the sites you are considering.
USER CONSULTATION
We have professional skatepark and community consultation teams who can work with the community to ensure maximum buy-in and participation throughout the process.
ASSESSMENTS
We can specify, conduct, analyse and interpret site, noise, light, flood and environmental assesments to aid the planning and design stages of your project.
PLANNING
Our in house landscape architects can work with your local planning departments from outline stage through to full planning applications.
CONSTRUCTION
With in house teams comprised of skilled craftsmen who are also skaters and riders our commitment to creating the perfect space flows all the way through the project.

As the oldest skatepark firm in the world we are responsible for some of the most respected parks in wood, steel and concrete built both indoors and outdoors.
SKATEABLE SPACE DESIGN
We are at the forefront of skateable spaces where urban design and community cohesion can be improved via the safe integration of wheeled sport spaces.
BIKE PARK DESIGN
Our in house team combined with long term partners can create anything from BMX pump tracks to mountain bike trails.
